Abstract

The aim of this work is to study the possibility of using artificial neural networks to identify and characterize pathologies in blood vessels.  The studies carried out to analyze the results of Doppler ultrasound of the arteries of the lower extremities and to find the position and characteristics of atherosclerotic plaques in the longitudinal section of the carotid artery.  Because of the study, models of neural networks were designed that can solve the assigned tasks with an error of no more than 9%.
