Abstract

A mathematical model of computer network is designed and determined both deterministic and stochastic point of view. The model exhibits two equilibria which are virus free equilibrium and endemic equilibrium. Basic reproduction number R0 is found and is used to study and predict the nature of the equilibrium points of the model. Numerical simulation is carried to show the validity of our analytical findings both in deterministic and stochastic. The results are also compared between deterministic and stochastic. Most of the parameters used in our model shows a significant change in the behaviour of the network, particularly anti-virus effect parameter exhibits better effect as we increase the vale of the parameter, the infected nodes gets decreases. In this manner it is good to consider our model to predict the nature of the computer networks under the assumptions of our model.
