Abstract

To describe the MRI findings in patients with non traumatic causes of lowback ache, To analyze the various marrow signal intensity changes in lumbosacralregion.Describe the changes and to assess the usefulness of MRI as an imagingmodality in the diagnosis of non traumatic pathologies causing low backache.Low back ache is a debilitating condition affecting young and old adults alike. As one of the commonest complaints in orthopedic OPDs, the etiology and pathogenesis of non- traumatic LBA is varied and requires careful evaluation.
