The Role of Strategic Proliferation In Promoting Green Finance: An Empirical Study In A Sample of Iraqi Banks

Abstract
This study aims to show the extent to which Iraqi banks are adopting the green financing strategy as one of the new entrances within the banking business. Measuring the strategic prevalence of banks in promoting green financing in Iraqi banks, the study was problematic. How can the strategic deployment of banks ensure that green financing grants are strengthened in researched commercial banks? To achieve the objectives of the study, a sample of Iraqi banks was selected in the provinces of Wasit and Dhi Qar and prepared a questionnaire form, which was prepared through a review of some previous studies and arbitrated by a number of specialized professors and distributed as samples to banks. The data were subjected to statistical analysis through a range of ready-made software, primarily the Smart Plus program, and the results proved the validity of most hypotheses. The study reached a number of conclusions, including an impact relationship on the strategic deployment of banks in promoting green finance. The study also recommended a number of recommendations for the researched study community, including balancing various economic, social, and environmental objectives because environmental degradation hinders economic growth and the well-being of society.
