Assessment of Nutrition, Physical Activity and Exercising for Women with Osteoprosis in Baqubah City

Abstract
This study aimed to be assess the nutrition, physical activity and exercising for woman with osteoporosis, determine the level of women's osteoporosis and identify the relationship between Women’s nutrition, physical activity and exercising and their socio-demographic characteristics . The study Initiated from (September 2020 to Jun 2021), The research design was employed in this study a descriptive design. Non- probability (convenient) sample of (70) women with osteoporosis selected from (5) Private Clinics for Joints and Fractures in Baqubah city, Iraq. The results of data analysis was employed by Statistical Package for Social Science (SSPS version 23). The findings of the study show that the majority of the study sample with age group (40-49) years (28.57%), married housewives, and have a low educational level. Most of women have good nutrition (88.57%) and fair physical activity and exercising (75.71%). The majority of women have severe osteoporosis. Women’s age is the only variable that has a relationship with their nutrition, physical activity and exercising. It is recommended that health training and education programs about fitness and exercising need to be designed and presented for women with osteoporosis.
