Insulin Therapy: Associated challenges in type 2 diabetes
Main Article Content
Abstract
Despite recent advancements in type 2 diabetes care, many patients continue to struggle to maintain good glycemic regulation. Inadequate glycemic regulation has been found to harm patients' health and overall well-being, as well as significant financial consequences for both patients and healthcare systems. While insulin therapy has been shown to decrease glycated haemoglobin levels dramatically, both patients and physicians may be hesitant to begin. According to research, both patient and provider considerations play a role in the delay in initiating insulin therapy. This analysis addresses the most often encountered impediments to this method, as well as possible ways to solve them.
