Evaluation of the Model Area Development Project for Quality-of-Life according to the New Theory Applied to “Khok Nong Na Model” in the center “1 Rai Is Not Poor for the People of Rajabhat”, Tha Ngio Thailand

Abstract

This study evaluates a model area development project to increase quality of life, according to the new theory
applied to the Khok Nong Na Model. It shows that a learning center of 1 rai is not enough for the people of Rajabhat
in Tha Ngio of the Nakhon Si Thammarat province, Thailand. This study’s objective is to assess the model area
development project to develop quality of life according to the new theory applied to Khok Nong Na Model. It
shows that a learning center of 1 rai is not enough until the Rajabhat people are responsible for academic disciplines
of community development at the Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University of the Tha Ngio Sub-district, Nakhon
Si Thammarat province. The assessment depends on a CIPP model. The model consists of four core value evaluation
aspects: context, input, process, and product. Twenty (20) households participated in this activity. We collected data
from the sample population and analyzed it using statistics formulas: percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The
results showed that all aspects had a high level (μ = 4.42, σ = 0.18) with the decreasing mean in consideration. The
aspect with the highest mean had the highest yield (μ = 4.50, σ = 0.37), followed by the high process values (μ =
4.47, σ = 0.24), the input factors had a high level (μ = 4.40, σ = 0.06), and the aspect with the lowest mean is of the
environmental conditions or the high context value (μ = 4.28, σ = 0.14)
