Main Article Content
Abstract
Criminal activity has always been a part of human culture, and even today, many different kinds of crimes are still committed around the country in a world of highly sophisticated surveillance and police capabilities. The new framework extends to all or most police stations around the country to resolve this issue and addresses the subject of Crime Data Management exclusively. The accuracy of knowledge derived from existing databases and the ease with which it can be accessed determine the effectiveness of the police function and therefore the consistency with which it tackles crime. The system would be applied through states first, and interconnected so that a police officer could access data from all databases across the globe, making operations more effective. In order to get a vision of the distributed architecture along with centralized database storage, the project was designed accordingly. The XAMPP architecture will be used to build all of the user interfaces, which will be built using SQL server constructs.
