The Significance and Implication of 'Free Human Will' During Pandemic

Abstract

Background: The waste produced in the course of healthcare activities carries a higher potential for infection Free human will, is the power or capacity to choose among alternatives or to act in certain situations independently of natural, social, or divine restraints. Continuous debates of its definition and its existence have been recurring long time ago since the time of Enlightenment. As the global outbreak of COVID pandemic started, with many constraints of stricter rules and protocols to follow, its existence has continuously been questioned. The primary objective of this paper is to further analyze what free human will is and its significance and implication during the pandemic. Qualitative approach utilizing sampling method through interview paved the way for the researchers to secure needed data. Findings of the study revealed that respondents viewed Human Free Will of prime


importance and that it needs to be logically exercised with constraints especially during such time of pandemic.
