Background:A skin graft is a thin layer of skin from a donor site that is received. It comprises the epidermis and part of the dermis (split skin graft thickness) or, depending on the thickness, the epidermis and dermis (full thickness skin graft).For covering skin and soft tissue defects, split thickness skin graft is also use.
