Abstract

Emergency ventilators are one of the fastest solutions that can be used to overcome the lack of ICU ventilators that occur during the pandemic time. The #BPPT3S-POLY is the emergency ventilator developed by BPPT and industrial partner PT Poly Jaya Medical. It is based on the BVM automation mechanism, and works with CMV ventilation mode. Accurate ventilator performance is crucial to provide the patient with the best ventilatory strategy.  This bench test is conducted to see the level of accuracy and precision of the emergency ventilator against the set parameter values. This emergency ventilator requires setting the variables VT, RR, IE Ratio, and PEEP. PIP is a parameter that is monitored at every breath. The results show  thatthe accuracy rate of VT is 99.25%, RR is 99,22%, IE ratio is 95.66%, and the PIP value is always kept below 15 cmH2O.
