Abstract

This article focuses on the sense of sincerity within human emotions. The sense of sincerity, which is considered one of the strongest human qualities among all nations and peoples, has been etymologically and semantically analyzed in English and Uzbek using fiction and proverbs. Emphasis is placed on the connection of the Uzbek concept of sincerity with the English concepts of "earnest", "truthful", "natural", as well as the extensive and emotional state of these lexicons.
