Abstract

India is a country with great number of youngsters. Youth is seen as the future of any country but recent trends are showing a tremendous increase in crime rates committed by the youngsters. Many research and survey studies concluded about the factors or situation that forced those juveniles to commit a crime. But the use of profiling tool to figure out the reasons or current situation which can turn an innocent into a criminal is limited. As there is a hit of puberty many hormonal, situational challenges are faced by the youngsters. In such condition proper family support and parental supervision is required to keep a check on their mental status and to observe any undesirable change in their behavior. If at correct time such youngsters get the support, care and guidance, the crime committed by juveniles will decrease. So in order to prevent the youngsters to become a criminal study was conducted to determine the mental condition in different situation and their reaction.
