Increased Ear Infections of candida Ciferrii and candida Guilliermondii compared to C. Albicans and other Non-Albcanis Candida Speciesin AL- Najaf Governorate

Abstract

C.albicansis known to be the main cause of ear infections but in this study found that there are two kinds of yeasts considered rare PathogenistyCandida ciferriiandCandidaguilliermondii.Thesewere diagnosed and its antifungal susceptibility was measured using the Vitek2.It was resistance to fluconazole, Amphotericin B and Caspofungin.also thesespecies has a high capacity to configure biofilm .The presence of gene MDR1 and ERG9 was also detected in the isolates using PCR technology.
