Abstract

Indonesia is a multi-cultural country. One culture that tends to be dominantly inhabited by Indonesian people is Sundanese culture precisely in the province of West Java. One of the values built in Sundanese culture is silihasah (educate each other), silihasuh (protect each other), and silihasih (love each other). The form of anxiety that arises in this study is the process of mental development of future holders of Sundanese culture. Sundanese culture is currently participating in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Various efforts must be made to maintain and even improve the mentality of the owners of Sundanese culture so that they remain and are able to live together, bring, and elevate the dignity and dignity of Sundanese culture to the surface of the world in the era of society 5.0. One of the logical and realistic efforts to deal with these anxieties is through the application of ethno-pedagogic as a jack to instill Sundanese self-image in children in the world of education in the province of West Java in order to develop a human mentality that is ready and worth living in the era of society 5.0.
