On Construction of Filters and Mask Functions in Quaternion Multi Resolution Analysis and Application in Video Image Processing

Abstract
In the current paper through the Quaternion algebra over H and its matrix representation, we construct the quaternion scaling functions and their related wavelets. Then we compute their mask functions and filters, which are wellknown and applicable in many areas such as quantum mechanics, signal processing, image processing. Also they have a width range use in video image processing.
