Current State of Gray-Brown Soils of the Desert Zone of Uzbekistan and their Rational Use
Main Article Content
Abstract
Gray-brown soils, widespread in the desert zone of Uzbekistan, in irrigated agriculture occupy a relatively small area. Despite this, they are a reserve for expanding their area under the food culture of the republic. Data on the current state, as well as changes in their morpho-genetic properties under the influence of anthropogenic factors during irrigation, and ways of their rational use on the Ustyurt, Tashsaka plateau and the Malikchul plain are presented.
